Mostar is an important tourist destination in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is famous after his beautiful Old Bridge over Neretva River. The Old Bridge, built in the 16th century, is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Bosnia and it is one of the most important culture and heritage pieces of Islamic architecture on Balkan area.
The next stop is small town of Blagaj, about 12 kilometers southeast of Mostar. There you can explore picturesque monastery dates back to 1520 which was built for the Dervish cults and sits at the base of a steep cliff where the Buna River begins. Be sure to stop at the small balcony for great views of the emerald Buna River.
