Tour programme
Day 1

Arrival at Ljubljana airport and transfer to the hotel. After you settle down transfer to Bled. Visit of the world known Lake Bled, and of the most visited sites in Slovenia. You can take the traditional Pletna boat and visit St. Mary church on the little island in the middle of Bled lake.
Next stop is Postojna, where we will visit the known cave in the world and the world’s largest karst monuments the Postojna Cave. Part of the tour is a cave train ride and part of it is taken by foot.  Return to Ljubljana in late afternoon. Overnight.
* Postojna – clothing and footwear should be adapted to the constant temperature of 8-10 degrees Celsius / 46 -50 degrees Fahrenheit

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards Zagreb, meeting with local guide and start with a walking tour, visit the most important Zagreb’s sites like the upper town with St. Mark’s Church, the most important governmental buildings – The Parliament, The Government Palace. After the upper town we will continue and see the green market Dolac and the main central square of Ban Jelacic. Free afternoon to enjoy in Zagreb and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of the oldest and largest national parks in Croatia. In 1979, was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register. The national park is world-famous for its 16 lakes arranged in cascades. NP offers its visitors seven different routes to tour the lake system, and four hiking trails. You have a whole day to explore the park and enjoy the beautiful nature. Overnight at the hotel near NP Plitvice.

Day 4

After breakfast continue towards Zadar city. Arrival and city tour of Zadar with a local guide. Zadar offers its visitors a unique fusion of a historic old town with Roman ruins and medieval churches. Walk from the Land Gate of Zadar, through the Kalelarga, the main street of the city since Roman times and you will see the symbols of the city; the Church of St. Donat, the biggest cathedral in Dalmatia – Saint Stosija and municipal square– Forum. Don’t miss walking the Zadar seafront where there is the Sea organ, an architectural sound art object, which plays music by way of sea waves and tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps. Departure to Split, arrival in late afternoon. Overnight at Split hotel.

Day 5

After breakfast transfer to the ferry port and ferry transport to the island of Hvar. Day at leisure to explore Hvar by your own or relax on the beach or you can join an optional excursion proposed by your tour leader. Most attractive sights of the town of Hvar are St. Stephen’s cathedral from the 16th century and Fortica fortress built on a hill above the town. The theater building from the beginning of the 17th century is one of the oldest theater buildings in Europe and the first public theater in the world. City hall and Franciscan monastery from the 15th century are also very important cultural heritage of Hvar. In the evening, return to Split and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6

Breakfast at the Hotel. During the morning we will visit Trogir. The historical center of Trogir is a unique monument of culture and is included on UNESCO’s World Heritage. After the visit we will go back to Split. Arrival in Split and city tour with a local guide. We will admire the Diocletian Palace, the Split Cathedral and the Jupiter Temple. Old town of Split with Diocletian’s Palace built in 4th century AD, has been inscribed as protected UNESCO World Heritage Site. Local people still live inside the palace walls which makes this town a unique open-air living museum. Free evening to enjoy in Split and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7

After breakfast continue towards Mostar city. You will enjoy in the sightseeing of the most notable landmark of Mostar and first monument in Bosnia and Herzegovina listed on UNESCO’s World heritage list – Old Bridge. Your guide will bring you an interesting historical story through the most important sights of the city. After two hours walking tour, you will have free time on your own. In late afternoon hours journey continues to Dubrovnik. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8

Free day to discover the beauty of Dubrovnik, cultural metropolis and the most remarkable medieval walled city in Croatia, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through Stradun – once a sea channel, which separated the city in two parts, today the town’s main street, paved with smooth stone blocks. Visit Church of St. Blaise – Dubrovnik’s most beautiful temple whose golden statue with a scale model in his hand from the 15th century is now kept in the church. Explore the city walls that run almost 2 kilometers around the city – filming location for the television series, Game of Thrones. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport of Dubrovnik. End of this unforgettable journey.
